He opened one of the cases and found the money inside it. More than half-a-million shekel.” Avraham continued: “He asked a Rov what to do. The Rav Paskened that he could take the money for himself as the owners most likely have already given up on finding it. But the finder decided that he was going to return it in any case.

Throngs of Jews joined the Yom Kippur tefillos at the main shul in Moscow, the Marina Roscha shul, Kikar H’Shabbos reported. In light of the coronavirus, gabbaim organized dozens of other minyanim for Yom Kippur in the same neighborhood as Marina Roscha in schools and public institutions. President Donald Trump and Democrat Joe Biden will meet in their first debate Tuesday in a presidential election year marked by extraordinary turmoil. With the election 35 days away and early votes already being cast in some states, Biden has kept a lead over the Republican president in most national polls. While debates have not significantly shaken up the election in recent years, Tuesday’s highly anticipated matchup will offer the clearest contrast yet between the two men. The debate, starting at 9 p.m. Eastern Time in Cleveland, is the first of three between Trump and Biden.

In what is likely the first incident of its kind in the area, a deer was seen running around the Flatbush community on Tuesday. Flatbush Shomrim was the first to receive multiple calls from residents in the area of Ocean Parkway and Avenue S reporting a deer jumping from property to property. The NYPD was called, and after chasing it around for more than an hour, Emergency Services Officers managed to shoot it with a tranquillizer. It was unknown where the deer came from, as there are no deer whatsoever in this residential community. (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

The Minneapolis Police Department is investigating claims by right-wing activist group Project Veritas that individuals tied to Rep. Addressing the UN General Assembly, PM Netanyahu revealed what he says is a previously unknown Hezbollah “missile factory” in the heart of Beirut. Following is Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech, today (Tuesday, 29 September 2020), to the UN General Assembly: “Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen, The Middle East is not exactly renowned for producing good news, and few expected this year to be any different. You know, the pandemic is ravaging our part of the world like everywhere else. But I am pleased to report to you that this year, I can tell you about good news from the Middle East. In fact, I can report two pieces of good news.

Levy Falkowitz flew in to Israel to perform at the yearly Bein Hazmanim Musical Concert made by the Rosh Haeer of Elad, where Levy was joined on stage by a full production of the Ahrele Nachshony Orchestra and accompanied The Malchis Choir. The NYPD and Williamsburg Shomrim were looking for a vehicle that stole a crate of live chickens for a Williamsburg Kapparos center on Erev Yom Kippur. The crime was captured on dashcam video which can be seen below. Many of these “animal rights activists” are the same type of folks who attend BDS rally’s, Occupy Wall Street, RESIST, “Not My President”, and chant “Free Free Palestine” at anti Israel demonstrations. YWN has in previous years confirmed the same faces seen at all different venues of protest. You can be sure that these activists didn’t protest the Hamas use of birds to carry bombs into Israel [as was reported by YWN in July in 2018]. YWN notes that the very same people that are so overly concerned for the lives of chickens, have no problem killing unborn human babies.
