The White House acknowledged that President Donald Trump and King Abdullah II of Jordan have differing opinions regarding Trump’s proposal to relocate Gazans as part of a broader US strategy for the region.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt addressed the media, confirming that while King Abdullah opposes the relocation idea, Trump continues to advocate for moving Palestinians from Gaza to neighboring countries, including Jordan.
“The king would prefer that the Palestinians stay in place with the additional land to be used for new development, which would greatly create jobs at levels never seen before. The president feels it would be much better and more majestic if these Palestinians could be moved to safer areas,” Leavitt explained.

Gadi Mozes, 81, who was recently released from Gaza after being held hostage, faced mistreatment during his captivity and later learned through the news that the terrorists had lied to him about his partner, Efrat Katz, and her death.
As reported by Ynet on Wednesday, Mozes, who rarely had access to the news, would listen when he could to try to piece together what had happened during the October 7, 2023 attack. Through these broadcasts, he found out the truth about Katz’s death, something the terrorists had concealed. “He realized he couldn’t believe anything they said,” his daughter-in-law, Einav, explained.

WATCH:

On Wednesday, Hamas announced that it would not release all of the Israeli hostages on Shabbos and instead called for three days of global solidarity marches in protest of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plans to remove Palestinians from Gaza as part of its reconstruction efforts.
“We call our masses, our nation, and free people around the world in a global movement against the plans to uproot our Palestinian people, in the coming Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to march against the plan of the occupation and its supporters,” Hamas stated in an official announcement.

Three more families of hostages revealed on Wednesday that they had received recent signs of life from their loved ones, raising the total number of hostages for whom signs of life have been confirmed in the past few days to 10.
Of these 10 hostages, only one is on the list of the 33 captives that Hamas is expected to release during the initial phase of the ceasefire-hostage agreement. Since the ceasefire began on January 19, Hamas has freed 16 Israeli hostages. In total, Hamas is holding 73 of the 251 hostages it captured on October 7, 2023, with around 30 of them believed to be alive.

A bipartisan group of senators, led by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), introduced a resolution affirming that Hamas should no longer be allowed to exercise political or military control of the Gaza Strip.
“One of the defining moments for the future of the Middle East and the world at large is to state directly and with moral clarity that Hamas—a terrorist organization—will no longer have political or military control of Gaza at the end of this conflict,” Graham stated in a press release announcing the measure.

Israel is considering urging Hamas to broaden the list of “humanitarian” hostages to be freed during the initial phase of the ceasefire agreement.
Currently, the first stage of the deal includes the release of 33 hostages, eight of whom are already deceased. The hostages on this list are elderly men, individuals suffering from injuries or illnesses, and both civilian and military women. However, based on testimonies from those recently released, Israel is increasingly worried about the condition of other hostages who were left off the list, including those who are in serious health or suffering from injuries.
