Britain’s Prince Charles has accepted an invitation by Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to take part in the Fifth World Holocaust Forum at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem in January.
The event, titled “Remembering the Holocaust, Fighting Anti-Semitism,” is a joint project by the World Holocaust Forum Foundation and Yad Vashem. Scheduled for Jan. 23, 2020, it will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp and make a clear statement that anti-Semitism has no place in global society.
Rivlin said that the upcoming forum will be taking place at a “very important historical moment … with the voices of Holocaust denial and anti-Semitism once again rising.”

A federal appeals court on Wednesday struck down part of the Affordable Care Act, ruling that its requirement that most Americans carry insurance is unconstitutional; it also sends back to a lower court the question of whether the rest of the law can remain without it.
The long-awaited decision by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit has little immediate practical effect on consumers because Congress already has removed the penalty for the insurance requirement. But the panel’s two-to-one ruling leaves the rest of the sprawling statute in limbo and catapults questions about insurance coverage and consumer protections for people with preexisting medical conditions to the forefront of the 2020 presidential and congressional campaigns.

The Weiss couple had been married for 3 years before their son was born to them. They celebrated the long-awaited bris with family and friends in Bnei Brak.
When Yisroel was 5 months old, he was found without a pulse in his crib, most likely a victim of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome). His parents were still in the middle of sitting shivah for their son, when Yitzchok Meir felt unwell. He collapsed, and attempts made to revive him were unsuccessful.
His widow is now bereft of her son, and of her husband.
