A group of Yeshiva students posing for a class photo were the victims of the latest hate incident in NYC.
On Wednesday (May 8), the students and faculty of Mesivta Shaarei Chaim were posing for a group photo in front of the yeshiva, which is housed at the Young Israel of Far Rockaway, located at 716 Beach 9th Street.

Four people were killed and 10 injured after a minibus collided with a guardrail on Highway 443 near Mevo Modiin on Thursday. It happened near the Shilat Junction, as the van was reportedly making its way to Jerusalem.

A man is in critical condition Wednesday night, after the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Lakewood.
The crash happened at around 8:30PM at the intersection of New Hampshire Ave and Route 88, TLS reports.

The lone fatality in the Colorado high school shooting was Kendrick Castillo, a friendly 18-year-old who, witnesses said, leaped from his desk in a literature class and charged the two attackers, sacrificing his life to buy classmates time to escape.

A Miami man was arrested Tuesday after police said he made threatening phone calls to a Miami Beach bagel store, targeting the business because its owners are Jewish.
According to the arrest report, Jorge Mateo Rucinque, 26, made several calls on Monday to Bagel Time Cafe on the 3900 block of Alton Road.

The Health Department today served closure orders to “Simche Kinder” located in Williamsburg at 812 Myrtle Ave. There are 77 children enrolled in this school.
