[COMMUNICATED]

Lancaster.

It was a fascinating exchange, and one that left everyone present open mouthed.
Rav Chaim Kanievsky was asked by his grandson what reward will be received by donors who take part in the current global “Connecting to Greatness” campaign to assist Yeshiva Kiryas Melech, which is led by his son, Rav Shlomo Kanievsky, who was present when the question was posed at Rav Chaim’s home.
Rav Chaim’s answer was succinct: “Yizku lekabel pnei Moshiach.” (They will merit to greet Moshiach.)
As previously publicized, Rav Chaim, in addition to penning a personal letter, has expressed in very strong terms the zechus of taking part in this campaign and assisting his son, Rav Shlomo, in sustaining – and saving – the yeshiva founded by the Chazon Ish.
Watch the exchange below:

A group of Neturei Karta radicals went to the Palestinian neighborhood of Isawiya in East Jerusalem to express their condolences to the family of a terrorist who was killed while attempting to kill an Israeli soldier.
The dead terrorist also was involved in planning shooting attacks on Israelis in the past but that did not stop the Neturei Karta radicals from expressing their sympathies to the terrorist’s family.
