Police have arrested a Washington state man for making death threats against Jared Kushner and Donald Trump Jr. weeks after he posted his intentions on social media.
Chase Bliss Colasurdo, 27, who lives in the Seattle area, indicated that he wanted to murder Kushner, a key White House adviser and President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, whom he deemed a traitor, for being Jewish, among other reasons, The Washington Post reported.
Colasurdo was arrested after he attempted to buy a gun, a representative of the US Attorney’s Office in Washington told the Post.

An Israeli court has ordered that a Jewish teen suspected of hurling a stone that struck and killed a Palestinian woman in a car in the northern West Bank last October be released to house arrest.
The 16-year-old suspect, who cannot be named because of privacy laws protecting minors, was charged in January in the death of 47-year-old mother-of-eight Aisha Rabi.
The suspect’s attorney tells The Times of Israel that his client will be released next Tuesday and will wear an electronic monitor.

Arafat Irfaiya, 29, who confessed to killing 19-year-old Ori Ansbacher in February, has been deemed fit to stand trial following a psychiatric evaluation conducted at the request of his defense team.
The next hearing in Irfaiya’s case is slated to be held at the Jerusalem District Court in June, at which point the Public Defender’s Office will present its response to the indictment, which included counts of committing a terrorist act in the form of premeditated murder, assault and entering Israel without a permit.

Monday evening, a building located at the corner of Avenue P and East 5th Street in Flatbush, Brooklyn, collapsed after a vehicle slammed into it.
The driver fled the scene, but was corralled a few blocks away by Flatbush Shomrim volunteers.
Numerous emergency personnel were at the scene, though, thankfully, no injuries were reported.

A leading US Jewish civil rights group on Monday announced a $5,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of a group of men who attacked an Orthodox Jewish man in Brooklyn over the weekend.
The Anti-Defamation League said it was putting up the reward to encourage those with information about the assailants to come forward.
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn, which has been the site of a rash of antisemitic assaults on Orthodox Jewish men in recent months.

New York City councilman Kalman Yeger plans to introduce a bill this week that would require the city to pay for an armed security guard at any house of worship that requests the protection. The bill was prompted by recent terrorist attacks and mass shootings inside churches, synagogues, and mosques around the world.

A thief who broke into a Hatzolah volunteer’s vehicle last night and made off with about $2,000 worth of equipment was found and arrested this afternoon.
A Hatzolah volunteer came to his car last night only to find an unexpected visitor taking off with items from his car, including two radios and the dashcam. The Hatzolah volunteer called Shomrim and Police, gave a detailed description of the perpetrator and field a police report.
