A Pesach program in Orlando, Fla., which attracted many guests from the New York area, descended into chaos this week after the owner of the program failed to pay at least $75,000 for goods and services provided by the resort, workers and vendors, according to the program’s remaining staff, The Jewish Week reports.
The program was started 16 years ago by the owner, who appears to have vacated the premises, leaving his remaining staff to contend with hundreds of shocked and disgruntled patrons.

This year we have the opportunity to perform an Eruv Tavshilin on Thursday, April 25th for the second days of Yom Tov.

The body of a young man who went swimming in the Kinneret lake and apparently drowned was found at the end of extensive searches conducted this morning.
The young man was extracted from the water without vital signs, and the MDA teams summoned to the scene were forced to determine his death.
The Kinneret Authority stresses that swimmers bathe only on declared beaches with rescue services, and to listen to instructions of lifeguards and inspectors to protect the safety of vacationers and swimmers.

The burglars tied up and gagged two young men staying at the Chabad House and proceeded to beat up the Notiks with bats, demanding the couple hand over their money. Chaya Notik reported suffered head injuries during the home invasion, and required surgery to treat her injuries.

A group of men and boys heckled and threw stones at an IDF soldier walking through the Mea Shearim neighborhood on Wednesday.
One of the stones nearly hit a father who was holding his six-month old daughter. Footage from the scene showed the father — with his baby still in his arms — yelling at the mob as they continued to hiss at the soldier. The child’s mother then appeared to scream at them as well, before the two of them walk away in disgust.
Police were dispatched to the scene and said that officers managed to scatter the crowd and safely evacuate the soldier, who was unharmed in the incident.
