Mayor of Belleville, NJ, says US government drones may be looking for radioactive material that went missing early December from a container that came through Newark. The House Intelligence Committee will have a classified briefing today from the CIA, FBI, and DOD on the drones.

A senior Russian general was killed Tuesday by a bomb hidden in a scooter outside his apartment building in Moscow, a day after Ukraine’s security service leveled criminal charges against him. A Ukrainian official said the service carried out the attack. Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, the chief of the military’s nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, was killed as he left for his office. Kirillov’s assistant also died in the attack. First floor of American Embassy in Port Vila, Vanuatu (South Pacific Ocean island) is completely gone after a massive 7.4 earthquake. It is feared that the staff of the embassy was inside. The Internet is down, and many other buildings have collapsed.
