Police, firefighters, and EMS are on the scene of a plane crash on the primary runway at Lakewood Airport. Three individuals were aboard the aircraft, and all have been safely removed. A small plane has crashed at Lakewood’s airport. There were 3 or 4 people on the plane, with one of them injured. Emergency personnel are on the scene.

A Muslim resident of Virginia has been arrested for allegedly planning a mass casualty attack targeting the Israeli Consulate General in New York City. The suspect, Abdullah Azz al-Din Taha Muhammad Hassan, reportedly identified the consulate as his intended target and provided detailed instructions on how to construct and deploy an explosive device to an undercover FBI agent. An MVA involving an overturned vehicle which crashed into a parked car occurred at approximately 3AM at Bethune Boulevard and Fred Hecht Drive, Spring Hill EMS, Spring Valley Police and Spring Valley Fire Department were on the scene. Minor injuries were reported.

A fire broke out in the backyard of 1486 Ocean Parkway near Avenue O, early Thursday morning. Flatbush Hatzolah and the FDNY responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.

Already more than $30 trillion in debt, President-elect Donald Trump is now suggesting that Congress eliminate the debt ceiling entirely. In a phone interview with NBC News, Trump says that abolishing the debt ceiling would be a prudent decision, and he would fully support it. This came after Trump opposed a deal to avert a government shutdown.
