Bulldozer clears cars from Sunset Boulevard during Palisades Fire evacuations

SUFFERN: A motor vehicle accident on Route 202 near Lime Kiln Road left one person trapped in an overturned vehicle, later extricated by emergency responders. Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill EMS, Ramapo Police, and the Suffern and Tallman Fire Departments were on the scene. Injuries have been reported.

FDNY firefighters are currently on the scene of a manhole fire on 13th Avenue and 43rd Street, which has caused significant smoke and a power outage in the area, affecting traffic lights as well.
