Already more than $30 trillion in debt, President-elect Donald Trump is now suggesting that Congress eliminate the debt ceiling entirely. In a phone interview with NBC News, Trump says that abolishing the debt ceiling would be a prudent decision, and he would fully support it. This came after Trump opposed a deal to avert a government shutdown.

The Georgia Court of Appeals has ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis must recuse herself from the election-interference case involving Donald Trump and his co-defendants. While the court acknowledged Willis’s conflict of interest, it declined to dismiss the entire indictment, opting against what it termed an “extreme sanction.”

The IDF reports destroying rocket launchers and weapons at Hezbollah sites in southern Lebanon. While conducting operations, the 300th “Baram” Regional Brigade uncovered anti-tank missiles, artillery equipment, explosive devices, and rocket launchers. According to the military, some of the launchers were positioned to target Israel.
