The 18-year-old driver that blew through a red light and caused the death of a bicyclist in Flatbush, has been charged with criminally negligent homicide.
The NYPD says that Mizra Baig, 18, of Rego Park, Queens was charged in the crash that took the life of 52-year-old bicyclist Jose Alzorriz.

A book truck delivering equipment to a construction site in Flatbush overturned on Wednesday morning.
It happened on Avenue U near Ocean Parkway.
The FDNY is operating on scene and reports that thankfully there are no reported injuries or evacuations at this time.

A two-year-old child was pulled out of a pool in Jackson, NJ, on Wednesday morning.
Lakewood Hatzolah was on the scene at the incident at around 9:30AM, and found the child in cardiac arrest.

A young girl discovered something slithery at a New Jersey airport security checkpoint: a 15-inch-long snake.
Transportation Security Administration officials at Newark Liberty International Airport said in a release that it appears the thin, black snake with a yellow ring around its neck was forgotten by a traveler Monday night.
