Southwest Airlines is pulling out of New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport following extensive delays caused by the FAA’s grounding of the Boeing 737 Max.
It will cease operations at Newark and consolidate them at LaGuardia Airport in New York effective Nov.

A New York City couple captured a 3-foot (1-meter) alligator in their local park and taped its mouth before calling police to pick the animal up.
Authorities believe the gator was an illegally owned pet that escaped.

New York’s City Council will consider a bill to ban the sale of cellphone users’ location data to marketers.
The New York Times reports that the bill to be introduced Tuesday would make it illegal for cellphone companies and app developers to share location data with third parties while a customer’s mobile device is within city limits.

It happened on Tuesday afternoon at around 3:00PM at the Bais Rochel School on Israel Zupnik Drive, when a closet reportedly fell on top of a 7-year-old child (female).

YWN is sad to report the untimely death of Dr. Mark Lebowitz who was killed in an auto accident on Monday morning.
Dr. Lebowitz had a large practice in Brooklyn as well as being in charge of the Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center on Avenue J in Flatbush, with 35 ophthalmologists.
