A parking garage has partially collapsed in Lower Manhattan leaving multiple injured. The parking garage is located at 57 Ann Street between Nassau Street and William Street. The floors of the three-story building on Ann Street collapsed at around 4:15 p.m., sending cars crashing down. Several people inside the garage were injured. Firefighters were working on reaching the victims.

Southwest Airlines Co. halted flights nationwide as the carrier said it was dealing with “intermittent technology issues.” The company disclosed the unspecified problem Tuesday after passenger complaints on Twitter. Southwest also said there were issues with its website and mobile app. The US Federal Aviation Administration subsequently said the carrier had requested a pause in departures. “As a result of the intermittent technology issues that we experienced, we should hopefully be resuming our operation as soon as possible.
