A recent ABC News/Washington Post poll has revealed that US President Joe Biden is facing a challenging re-election campaign, as the majority of American adults do not believe he has the mental or physical capacity to serve another term. The poll found that 63% of respondents believe Biden, who is 80 years old, lacks the “mental sharpness” required to serve as president, compared to only 32% who believe he does have the necessary capacity, while the remaining 5% had no opinion. The same poll conducted a year ago found that 54% of respondents shared the same opinion. Similarly, 62% of respondents do not believe Biden is in good enough physical health to serve, while 33% believe he is, and the remaining 5% had no opinion.

The boycott against Angel Bakery that began on Thursday continued on Sunday but as of yet there has been no official response from the company. However, Yoel Spiegel, the grandson of the founder of Angel Bakery, responded to the  boycott by inciting against the Chareidi sector in a post that was later removed by Facebook after numerous complaints of incitement “There’s no limit to the chutzpah of part of the Chareidi sector in the State of Israel,” he wrote.

What’s the best way to protest the tragic death of a man infamous for harassing and inconveniencing subway riders? Harassing and inconveniencing more subway riders, of course. Protesters gathered Saturday in the 63rd Street-Lexington Avenue subway station to protest the death of Jordan Neely, who died after being placed in a chokehold by a passenger last week. Neely’s death has sparked race-tinged calls for riots, despite there being no evidence that his race had anything to do with his demise. “No justice, no peace!” The protesters shouted, standing on the train tracks. “Abolish the police!” they added for good measure, though police actions had literally no role on Neely’s death. “What do we do?” a protester yelled into a microphone.

Israel’s Shin Bet on Sunday released Jordanian parliament member Imad Adwan to Jordanian authorities following heavy diplomatic pressure from Jordan and a promise that he will face justice at home. Adwan was caught last month trying to use his diplomatic immunity to smuggle 194 guns, 12 assault rifles, and over six million dollars worth of gold to terror groups in the Palestinian Authority. “In the wake of the parliamentarian’s questioning, Jordanian security forces arrested several people connected with the smuggling,” the Shin Bet said in a statement released on Sunday.

With the White House being badgered by reporters over why the president answers so few media questions, Joe Biden told reporters on Friday that he would be holding a “major press conference” later in the day. Turns out, it wasn’t a press conference at all, but rather an interview with a single anchor from leftist MSNBC. “I’m doing a major press conference this afternoon, so I love you all but I’d like to ask you to leave so we can get down to business,” Biden said. As reporters continued trying to ask him questions as he left a room where he made comments about April’s jobs numbers, Biden turned to them and said, “We’ll get a chance to talk about all of those things, I promise you.” The White House later admitted that Biden didn’t, in fact, have a press conference lined up.

Yisrael Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman responded to the Chareidi boycott of Angel Bakery by showing support for the bakery. Lieberman published two photos of himself purchasing challah in Angel on Thursday evening, writing: “On the way home, I stopped to buy challos for Shabbat in Angel Bakery. As far as I know, the State of Israel is still defined as a democracy and people are allowed to express their opinions. We won’t allow Chareidi askanim to harm the livelihood of Israeli citizens.” Meanwhile more and more yeshivos ended their contracts with Angel, including Wolfson Yeshivah, which has over 1,000 bochurim, and many other large Chareidi and Dati Leumi yeshivos, Talmudei Torah and other institutions.

A man who had been shouting at people aboard a New York City subway train died after fellow riders tackled him and one put him in a chokehold that lasted until his body went limp. And now the incident has led to Democrats being at each other’s necks, too. Video of the altercation posted online by a freelance journalist showed the man lying beneath Neely, holding him in a headlock position for several minutes as Neely tried and failed to break free. A second passenger pinned Neely’s arms while a third person held down his shoulder. “Jordan Neely was murdered,” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez tweeted.

Leftists protested throughout the country on Thursday as part of the National Equality Day against Chareidim and National Disruption Day against the government of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu. Unlike previous protests that focused mainly on judicial reform and Chareidim, the “protests” on Thursday were against an eclectic variety of issues, including discrimination against women and Arabs, the high rate of murder and violence in Arab society, and the soaring cost of living. Protests began early in the morning and are scheduled to take place through the evening.
