For the second time in the past few hours, a massive barrage of rockets was fired from Gaza into the Tel Aviv area at around 3:00AM IL. The Iron Dome system can be seen intercepting rockets over the city. Loud booms were heard in the city, but there were no immediate reports of casualties. Rockets were also fired at Beersheba and Ashkelon. The barrage came minutes after the IDF destroyed a nine-story building in Gaza. The IDF had warned the occupants for many hours that the building was going to be leveled. The nine-story structure houses residential apartments, medical production companies and a dental clinic. Israeli aircraft fired five warning rockets from a drone to alert people of the incoming bombing early Wednesday.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Nation. The following are his remarks: “We are in the midst of a major campaign – Operation Guardian of the Walls. Yesterday and today, the IDF attacked hundreds of Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorist targets in the Gaza Strip. We have eliminated dozens of terrorists, including senior commanders. We have bombed Hamas command centers and toppled buildings that serve the terrorist organizations. We will continue to attack with all force. We have just finished a consultation and assessment of the situation with the heads of the security establishment and we made decisions. Hamas and Islamic Jihad have paid and – I tell you here – will pay a very heavy price for their aggression. I say here this evening – their blood is on their heads.

Two Palestinian terrorists were shot at the Tapuach Junction on Tuesday afternoon. It appears the team were attempting to carry out a terror attack. Some reports say it was an attempting shooting attack, while others say it was an attempted car-ramming attack. It appears both terrorists are still alive. Video below from the incident. The Israeli city of Tel Aviv is under fire from a barrage of rockets launched from the Gaza Strip. The outgoing volleys set off air raid sirens across the city on Tuesday night, and Israel’s anti-rocket defense systems were activated. Hamas said it launched a total of 130 rockets, its most intense strike so far, in response to Israel’s destruction of a high-rise building in Gaza earlier in the evening. The sound of the outgoing rockets could be heard in Gaza. As the rockets made their way up in the skies, mosques across Gaza blared with chants of “God is great,”, “victory to Islam” and “resistance.”

Over 40 Israelis were injured on Tuesday early afternoon when a new barrage of rockets from the Gaza Strip hit Ashdod and Ashkelon, with a number of buildings receiving direct hits, including at least one home and a school. At least 40 rockets were launched from Gaza within one minute and over 300 rockets have struck Israel since Monday. Four of those injured are members of the same family, with the father, 40, in serious to moderate condition, and the mother, 39, in moderate condition. The children are in light condition. They were evacuated to Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. Another Israeli was seriously injured, another was moderately injured, and the rest were lightly injured. Two buildings in Ashdod and six buildings in Ashkelon suffered direct hits.

The IDF confirms that seven rockets were fired at Jerusalem on Monday evening. The attacks came Monday, shortly after Hamas had set a deadline for Israel to remove its security forces from the Har Habayis. The sounds of outgoing rocket fire were heard in Gaza shortly before the sirens went off. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage. One of the rockets fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip appears to have landed in an open field near the moshav of Beit Nekofa outside Jerusalem. Meanwhile, an anti-tank missile fired from Gaza hit an Israeli car across the border. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist group claims the attack.

Dramatic video footage went viral on Monday night, showing a large fie on the Har Habayis – as thousands were celebrating Yom Yerushalayim at the Kosel. Reports state that fireworks fired by Palestinians seem to have caught a large tree on fire. Police say officers are on the scene and are working to extinguish the blaze. The Hamas terror group issued an ultimatum to Israel on Monday, saying that if Israel doesn’t remove its security forces from Har Habayis and the east Jerusalem neighborhood of Sheikh Jarrah by 6 p.m., it will attack the Jewish state. Hamas also “ordered” Israel to free the Arabs detained during the riots in Jerusalem. Meanwhile, Hamas and other terror groups in the Gaza Strip continue to attack Israel. Another rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip on Monday afternoon, landing inside the Gaza Strip, and terror balloons continued to land in Israel on Monday, igniting at least six fires in southern Israel. The IDF is preparing for a significant escalation on the Gaza/Israeli border and has increased forces in the area.

Dozens of Arabs threw stone blocks, rocks and other objects at Jewish drivers near Sha’ar HaArayos outside the Old City, causing one driver to lose control of his car, which almost turned over before ramming into at least one of the Arabs. The Arabs then ran to the car and attempted to carry out a lynch of the driver. A nearby police officer ran to the scene to protect the driver and his two passengers while firing his gun in the air to control the Arab mob. A large number of police forces were called to the scene to disperse the crowd. In a frightening glimpse of how little fear the Arabs have even of an armed police officer, the Arabs continued to heckle the driver and policeman even after the near lynch. רועי שניצל מניסיון הלינץ' בירושלים בשיחה ל-N12: "זרקו בלוקים מכל מקום.
