On Thursday night, Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin celebrated a third anniversary hoda’ah in honor of his miraculous release. Three years ago, on Zos Chanukah 5778, Klal Yisroel celebrated the miraculous release of Reb Sholom Mordechai. It wasn’t just a victory for him and his family. It was a victory for us all – a triumph of emunah and bitachon.
Over 12,000 people watched Thursday night’s event, with the first hour featuring Avraham Fried, Benny Friedman, Yaakov Schwekey and Shlomie Gertner. The next two hours featured a conversation with Reb Sholom Mordechai and his close friend, Yated published Rabbi Pinchos Lipschutz, who led the campaign to free Sholom Mordechai. The fascinating conversation was moderated by Rabbi Yitzchok Hisiger.

Coming on the heels of a very successful recent plasma drive, Lev Rochel Bikur Cholim has announced a second drive to help save even more lives.
Here’s what Kip Kuttner, Miller-Keystone medical director had to say about the recent drive:

A McCarran International Airport spokesman said a man had been taken into custody Saturday after climbing onto the wing of an Alaska Airlines airplane.
Spokesman Joe Rajchel told CNN that airport officials and officers with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department took the man into custody before Flight 1367 from Las Vegas to Portland could take off.
Rajchel said the man jumped over a perimeter fence before airport staff spotted him Saturday afternoon around 1:40 p.m.
