The much anticipated Pre-Pesach Kumzits for Men, Bochirm and boys took place once again last Wednesday evening. This year was the seventh annual event. The organiser Duddy Iczkovits of Duddy’s Events was only persuaded to make the evening a short time before, just as the bochurim were returning home from Yeshivah.

Officials trying to contain a measles outbreak in a county north of New York City on Tuesday ordered all unvaccinated people exposed to the disease barred from public gathering places, including houses of worship, for up to three weeks.

A burgeoning movement to outlaw fur is seeking to make its biggest statement yet in the fashion mecca of New York City.
Lawmakers are pushing a measure that would ban the sale of all new fur products in the city where such garments were once common and style-setters have all rocked furs over the years.

NJ Governor Phil Murphy welcomed Jewish community activists to Trenton on Tuesday, just days before Pesach. The group expressed their appreciation to the Governor for his unwavering support of Jewish communities statewide.

A five-alarm fire ripped through a sushi restaurant and medical office in Marine Park, Brooklyn.
The fire broke out in the restaurant on Flatbush Avenue near Quentin Road just before 6:30 a.m.
