2021 was a great year for Jewish music! Here are the Top 10 best songs of 2021.
Number 10: Lucky (8th Day) The title track of 8th Days new album hit great reviews & its music video has over 100,000 views!
Number 9: Crown (Yoni Z) Yoni Z’s recent single Crown came along with an amazing music video! The video reached well over 500,000 views & the song was a huge hit! Yoni Z’s New Album “Ahava” comes out Lag Ba’omer, stay tuned for updates on that.
Number 8: Abba Gadol (Moshe Tischler) Moshe Tischler’s single that came out during the summer was a huge hit, & the music video did amazing! The video was one of the first major music video done by talented video producer Motty Berkowitz, & may have started the trend with Motty producing music videos for some of the biggest singers in the industry! Moshe Tischler is also working on a new album, but it may be a while until that comes out.
Number 7: Vehi Sheomda (Mordechai Shapiro) Mordechai Shapiro’s Pesach single Vehi Sheomda was a great hit. While it definitely wasn’t his best song, it was still one of the best songs of the year!
Number 6: Eimosai (Danny Palgon) Danny Palgon’s hit single that came out right before his 2nd al bum was one of the biggest hits of the year! We wish this came along with a music video – but Dani chose to go for a lyric video instead.
Number 5: Jump (Uri Davidi) Uri Davidi’s Jump single from last February really took off! Uri’s about to release an album – and this song was one of his biggest yet! Jewish Hock will keep you updated with the latest on Uri’s new album!
Number 4: Hu Bashamayim (Dovid Pearlman) Dovid Pearlman first pops into the list at 4th place with his Hu Bashamayim song off his new Shira Shebalev album. Hu Bashamayim was one of Dovid biggest hits, & its a shame there was no music video to come with it.
Number 3: L’Chaim – A Toast To Life (Yaakov Shwekey) Yaakov Shwekeys new album A Toast To Life makes it onto this list – with A Toast To Life clocking in at the number 3 spot. Shwekey has at least 1 new album coming out in the next few weeks & we’ll keep you updated on that!
Number 2: Shira Shebalev (Dovid Pearlman) Dovid Pearlman comes back on the list taking the number 2 spot with the title track to his 2021 album – Shira Shebalev! Shira Shebalev was composed by Dovid, & was truly a great song! If Dovid released a music video for this song, we think it could’ve gotten 250,000+ views.
Number 1: Abba (Mordechai Shapiro) Mordechai Shapiro’s single and music video Abba was one of the greatest hits of the year! Abba is one of Mordy’s biggest hits – and reached a million views in no time! Mordy is also getting ready to release his newest album and all the details are here on Jewish Hock!
