The Democrat Party continues to abandon one of our closest allies…
According to an Axios report, former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is calling on Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu to resign for his response to his response to Hamas’ October 7th terror attacks.
Pelosi doesn’t care for Netanyahu’s campaign to eliminate Hamas.
“We recognize Israel’s right to protect itself. We reject the policy and the practice of Netanyahu. Terrible,” Pelosi said in an interview with RTÉ’s Six One News in Ireland. “What could be worse than what he has done in response?”
“I don’t know whether he’s afraid of peace, incapable of peace, or just doesn’t want peace, but he has been an obstacle to the two-state solution,” she added.
Last month, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) also called for Netanyahu to step down, saying that Israeli PM has “lost his way.”
“Prime Minister Netanyahu has lost his way by allowing his political survival to take the precedence over the best interests of Israel,” Schumer said at the time.
According to Schumer, the highest-ranking Jewish politician in the U.S., Israeli elections are “the only way to allow for a healthy and open decision-making process about the future of Israel.” He added that he believed a majority of Israelis also recognize a need for change in their government.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) reacted to Pelosi’s statement, calling it “shameful.”
“Shameful. Now BOTH Schumer & Pelosi have demanded that the elected leader of Israel resign. Not Hamas. Not Iran. Not China, Russia, or North Korea. Israel. It’s not just the fringe of the Democrat party that’s anti-Israel. It’s the leadership.”
