Over Shabbos afternoon, Israeli forces killed four terrorists in Tulkarm using a drone strike, only hours after an earlier drone strike eliminated 5 other terrorists on their way to carry out a terror attack.
The second strike targeted terrorists who had fired at Israeli special forces Duvdevan soldiers who were operating in the area.
The IDF said in a statement: “In a joint operation by the IDF, Shin Bet and Border Police, a terrorist cell was neutralized during an encounter with Duvdevan unit forces in Tulkarm, in the Menashe Brigade area. Guided by Shin Bet intelligence, Duvdevan fighters and Unit 636, an Air Force aircraft eliminated the cell,”
Among those killed in the first strike were Ali Khalil and Jamal Abu Haneya, terrorists who were responsible for the terror shooting attack that murdered an Israeli named Amnon Mukhtar in Qalqilya in June.
Mukhtar had gone grocery shopping in the PA controlled city, where he was then murdered. Vegetables were found in his car after the attack.
Other terrorists eliminated included Haitham Biladi, a senior Hamas military figure in Tulkarm, and Ahmad al-Sabaa, a Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader in Nur al-Shams.
