Due to popular demand, the BPJCC will again offer a free series of Amazon Sellers Courses to Boro Parkers. After over 200 interested individuals signed up for the last course, the BPJCC realized the vast need for a course on this topic and, therefore, expanded the offering. This time around, there will be a separate course for both men and women. The goal of this new course, done in partnership with JCCGCI, is to assist participants in obtaining the necessary skills to earn a respectful and potentially lucrative parnasah. The in-depth, comprehensive course will be taught by veteran Amazon instructor and coach Alan Horowitz. The nine-class series will allow attendees to understand every step from A to Z of launching a new career in Amazon sales. As the course is expected to fill quickly, those who wish to participate are encouraged to apply ASAP. Only 25 slots for each course is available. Registration for the courses are at www.BPJCC.org Please note: Priority placement will be awarded to those who attend the Open House held before the course. The open house will take place at the BPJCC Ballroom on Sunday, December 22. The Womens Open House will take place from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. The Mens Open House will take place from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. The open house will explain the course goals, thereby allowing attendees to decide before registering if the class is something they would be interested in committing to. “We are so pleased to be able to continue on this mission of helping our community to earn a respectable living,” says Avi Greenstein, BPJCC CEO. “The feedback on how this course has helped people in the past is tremendously heartening, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to offer an expansion on the Amazon courses to benefit twice the number of people we assisted before.” In other news, the BPJCC is expanding its workforce assistance program for the community. Veteran job placement expert Bentzion Segal will provide workforce assistance at the BPJCC through the ongoing partnership the organization has with JCCGCI. Workforce assistance will include scholarships to courses that can assist in parnasah. Anyone needing free job placement assistance or counseling is encouraged to call the BPJCC for an appointment at 718-972-6600
