Judge Rivka Friedman-Feldman made an announcement late at night, just hours before a scheduled hearing for Prime Minister Netanyahu to testify in the so-called Case 2000. She informed that the hearing would be postponed due to one of the panel judges falling ill.
The announcement mentioned that a decision regarding tomorrow’s session would be made later today, depending on the health of the judge, to decide whether the session will take place or be delayed as well.
Over the weekend, the judges overseeing the Prime Minister’s cases rejected Netanyahu’s request to testify for only one day next week.
During his testimony yesterday, Netanyahu was asked about his former spokesperson, Nir Hefetz. He responded, saying: “They smear him, make him go without sleep, probably do more violent things, and then ruin his life.”
“This is what they did to Ari Harow and Filber, they made them provide false testimony, this is what’s happening here. After what they did to Hefetz, I was angry with him at first, but after I saw the ordeal they put him through, I understood that he had to lie,” Netanyahu continued.
