During a heated meeting in the Oval Office today, President Trump warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he was “gambling with World War III.”
The tense meeting quickly took a dramatic turn when Vice President JD Vance confronted Zelensky over what appeared to be a slight directed at American officials.
Vance criticized Zelensky, saying it was “disrespectful for Zelensky to come into the Oval Office, litigating in front of the American media,” as reported by a pool reporter.
Trump raised his voice, addressing Zelensky directly, saying, “you’re not really in a good position right now.”
“You’re gambling with WWIII,” Trump added.
At that point, Vice President Vance also spoke up, asking Zelensky, “Have you said thank you once?”
He then reminded Zelensky, “You went to Pennsylvania to campaign for the opposition.”
Trump continued to press Zelensky, stating, “You’re running low on soldiers… then you’re telling us you don’t want a cease-fire.”
