Rep. Ilhan Omar said it’s a matter of when, not if, President Donald Trump will be impeached, and she’s not worried about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and others not moving ahead right now.
“It is OK for some people to have hesitations, for other people to catch up to where some of us have been for a very long time,” the first-term Democrat from Minnesota said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” billed as her first one-on-one network interview.
Omar, with New York’s Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Michigan’s Rashida Tlaib and Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, refer to themselves as “the Squad” and drew repeated attacks from Trump over the summer.

Iran on Sunday rejected U.S. accusations it was responsible for the devastating attacks on two oil installations in Saudi Arabia that forced the state oil company to suspend its production output by half and sparked fears of escalating hostilities across the Persian Gulf.
The Houthis, a rebel group in Yemen allied with Iran, had claimed responsibility for the attacks Saturday, saying it had sent a fleet of drones toward the Aramco facilities in eastern Saudi Arabia. Within hours later, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed Iran directly for what he called “an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply.”

Matthew J. Amiot was booked on first-degree arson Friday after allegedly setting the historic house of worship ablaze. No one was inside at the time, though six Torah scrolls – sacred Jewish texts handwritten on parchment paper – were destroyed.
At a Sunday news conference, Police Chief Mike Tusken said “there is no reason to believe this is a bias or hate crime” at this time. Authorities have not determined the motive.

Yahadut held a rally on Sunday night with thousands of participants, including important rabbis and Chasidic rebbes and Knesset members from Agudas Israel and Degel Hatorah.

We are davening with tens of thousands of Jews here to our father our king to avert the plans of those who are fighting against us.”
