A gas explosion that partially collapsed a North Carolina building and set it ablaze Wednesday morning killed one person and injured more than a dozen others, police said.
Police cars blocked the streets near the explosion in downtown Durham and a thick, acrid smoke hung over the shopping district created from remodeled tobacco warehouses.

As the Pesach season nears and the streets fill with pre-Yom Tov preparations, the staff at Boro Park Center provided patients with an opportunity to join in the holiday festivities by baking Matzohs in the nursing and rehab facility.
Clearly, no single person or party ran with a more vehemently anti-chareidi election campaign than Avigdor Lieberman and his Yisrael Beitenu party. That said, we heard chareidi representatives declaring they will never sit in a coalition with Yair Lapid of the Blue and White party, yet no such declaration was heard from them regarding Lieberman or vice versa.
