Google’s video site YouTube has been fined $170 million to settle allegations it collected children’s personal data without their parents’ consent.
The Federal Trade Commission fined Google $136 million and the company will pay an additional $34 million to New York state to resolve similar allegations.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said he’s disappointed to have not made the September Democratic debate and if he does not qualify for the October debate it is time for him to re-evaluate his presidential run.

The Israeli military said Tuesday the terrorist group Hezbollah and Iran have built a precision-missile factory in neighboring Lebanon’s Bekaa Valley.
The army issued a statement saying that “in fear of strikes” by Israel, Hezbollah had moved key equipment from the site to “civilian locations in Beirut.” It didn’t specify when this happened.
