On Motzei Shabbos, army radio reported that a flare was fired at Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea. 

No injuries or damages were reported, and a police investigation into the incident has begun.
According to KAN News, no one in the Netanyahu family was home at the time of the incident.

 
Reacting to the news, National Unity Party Leader Benny Ganz posted on X, saying:  “Firing flares at the Prime Minister’s house is extremely serious, and I strongly condemn it. I am sure that the Shin Bet and the Israel Police will lay hands on the perpetrators, and I call on them to bring them to justice.”

Two flares were launched near the residence of Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu in Caesarea on Motzoei Shabbos, according to a report by Army Radio.
The incident caused no damage, and law enforcement authorities have initiated an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding it.
At the time of the incident, none of the Netanyahu family members were present at the residence, as reported by KAN.

Donald Trump’s incoming administration is preparing to reinstate its “maximum pressure” campaign to cripple Iran’s financial ability to support regional proxies and advance its nuclear program, according to individuals familiar with the transition team’s plans. As soon as Trump assumes office in January, his foreign policy team intends to escalate sanctions on Tehran, particularly targeting its critical oil exports, these sources revealed.
“He’s determined to reinstitute a maximum pressure strategy to bankrupt Iran as soon as possible,” said a national security expert with knowledge of Trump’s transition plans.

A poll of Jewish voters in the 2024 election released on Thursday suggests that President-elect Donald Trump made modest gains among Jews over his Democratic opponent Vice President Kamala Harris.
The non-partisan Jewish Electorate Institute published the responses from a national survey of 1,000 Jewish respondents taken between Oct. 30 and Nov. 8. It found that 71% of Jewish voters went for Harris and 26% voted for Trump.

Iran International television station has reported that Iran has selected Mojtaba Khamenei, the son of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, to be the next Supreme Leader.  The report comes following recent reports that Khamenei was critically ill.
According to the report, Iran’s Assembly of Experts convened on September 26th for a secret disscussion, upon request of Khamenei.  60 council members attended the meeting, which was called without any warning.
At the meeting, the council unanimously decided to select Mojtaba as the next Supreme Leader.  However, reports claim that the meeting was contentious, with heavy pressure and direct threats leading to the final decision.

Neo-Nazis staged a march earlier today along North High Street in the Short North area of Columbus, Ohio.
A spokesperson from the Columbus Division of Police reported that officers were dispatched to the scene around 1:15 p.m. on Shabbos. By 2:40 p.m., authorities had begun clearing the area. Speaking to the Columbus Jewish News, the spokesperson stated, “Fights broke out and people were pepper sprayed,” adding that the investigation has been assigned to “a detective or undercover cop that does some digging into it” who specializes in addressing “gangs and supremacy groups.”

On leil Shabbos, as Shabbos began, the Sanzer Rebbe collapsed in the main Sanzer bais medrash of Kiryat Sanz, Netanya. The incident took place during Mincha when the Rebbe suddenly fainted.
He was immediately transported to Laniado Hospital, in Netanya, for urgent medical attention.
After undergoing a thorough battery of medical tests, doctors ruled out any cardiac-related concerns. According to sources close to the chassidus, the Rebbe’s condition was attributed to an infection that had caused significant physical weakness.
The medical staff administered light treatment, and by Shabbos morning, the Rebbe was discharged and returned home.
