Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas and leaders of Arab countries expressed their disapproval over the newly revealed U.S. Mideast peace plan at the Arab League summit in Cairo over the weekend.
“I am profoundly convinced that [U.S. President Donald] Trump does not know the first thing concerning this plan. He has no link to it,” Abbas told journalists in Cairo on Sunday.
The plan, he said, was the product of Trump’s senior Trump adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner, former special envoy to the Mideast Jason Greenblatt and U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman, who he said had just put “[Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu’s ideas” to paper.

Sen. Lindsey Graham got emotional recounting a long phone call to Joe Biden – “as good a man as God ever created,” he said.
The vice president had been dealt a “gut blow” with the death of his son Beau Biden, said the Republican senator from South Carolina. Talking with Graham, though, the prominent Democrat had focused on the future.
“If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person, then you got a problem,” Graham told a reporter, laughing in the back of a car. “You need to do some self evaluation. ‘Cause what’s not to like?”

A 35-year-old man who was reportedly the first U.S. patient diagnosed with the coronavirus involved in an outbreak in China has left a hospital in Seattle after receiving treatment.
The Associated Press reported Monday that the unidentified man wished to remain anonymous but thanked his doctors and nurses upon leaving Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, Washington.
“I am at home and continuing to get better,” the man said in a statement obtained by the AP. “I ask that the media please respect my privacy and my desire not to be in the public eye.”
“I appreciate all of the concern expressed by members of the public, and I look forward to returning to my normal life,” he continued.

LISBON, PORTUGAL (JTA) — A Portuguese politician apologized for calling a Holocaust-era rescuer of Jews their “loan shark.” Abel Matos Santos, the newly-elected vice president of the small, right-wing CDS People’s Party, made the apology last week in a statement after the Jewish Community of Lisbon protested his remarks following his appointment as the party’s […]

HaGaon HaRav Dovid Cohen, Shlita and Many Senior Gedolei Yisrael to Participate
By Chaim Gold
“Our FATHER is making a simcha! This is a simcha of Hashem Yisborach Himself who is saying, ‘chazu banai chavivai – Look at my dear children who forget all their difficulties and immerse themselves in Torah to such an extent that they have taken tests on all of Shas!!’”
These were the impassioned words of HaGaon HaRav Shimon Galei, shlita, last month at the massive Dirshu World Siyum at the Yad Eliyahu Stadium in Tel Aviv, when he addressed thousands of Yidden who had taken Dirshu tests throughout Shas; among them more than 400 ‘Shas Yidden’ who had been tested cumulatively on all of Shas!

Shalom Chavarim,
My name is Shlomo Eliyahu Barron. Up until last week, Boruch Hashem things seemed to be going on the up and up, we just won the housing lottery. My company HomeCrew.il just launched and things were starting to get better for us overall.

Until last week our son Dovid Yosef Ben Chana Shoshana was your normal 11 year old. He was going to school, learning Torah, playing with his friends and just being a kid.
Than one day, he came home complaining about some issues with his vision and headaches. Naturally, we went to the doctors. That’s when I got the terrible news. He was diagnosed with DIPG, which for those who don’t know is one of the most aggressive and inoperable forms of a brain tumor.
