22 Peleg protesters, who took part in the Thursday evening Peleg protest in Jerusalem following the arrest by military police of a Yeshiva Bochur, have been released by police. Peleg officials add the bochur who was injured when a mounted unit slipped is being released home.

The nationwide violence by members of Israel’s Ethiopian Israeli community resulted in injuries and significant damage to police vehicles and more. On Wednesday morning, July 3, 2019, protest leaders announced they will resume later today, in areas around Israel, including Ben-Gurion International Airport and outside the home of Prime Minister Netanyahu in Caesarea.

Dozens of Central Americans who had been returned to the border city of Juarez to await the outcome of their U.S. asylum claims were being bused back to their countries Tuesday by Mexican authorities, a first for that size group in the program commonly known as “remain in Mexico.”

A fire destroyed a Jewish-owned home in Monsey Tuesday afternoon, but thankfully, no injuries were reported.
Firefighters responded to the home located at 14 Maple Leaf Road just before 3:00PM, and arrived to find the home fully engulfed in flames.
