Police in Buenos Aires have arrested the suspected leader of a gang responsible for a violent attack on the Chief Rabbi of Argentina in late February.
Local authorities arrested the gang leader and two other members of the gang, all suspected of involvement in the violent home invasion and assault on Rabbi Gabriel Davidovich in February, that caused the Rabbi to hospitalized with nine broken ribs and a punctured lung.
The three latest arrests bring the total number of suspects taken into custody in the case to five.

The city shuttered a Williamsburg child care center located within the measles outbreak zone Monday for failing to turn over medical and attendance records.
According to the city’s Health Department, the United Talmudical Academy on Ross Street refused to disclose records that could show whether it was excluding children and staff with measles from its child care program.
As part of the health emergency declared last week, Mayor de Blasio declared that any school that allows unvaccinated students and staff to attend could be fined and closed down. The city has issued violations to 23 yeshivas and day care programs for not complying with the order.

U.S. President Donald Trump slammed Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) on Monday as “anti-Semitic” and “anti-Israel” amid Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) coming to her defense in response to the president tweeting a video, criticizing Omar for saying that the 9/11 attacks as “some people did something.”
“Before Nancy, who has lost all control of Congress and is getting nothing done, decides to defend her leader, Rep. Omar, she should look at the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel and ungrateful U.S. HATE statements Omar has made. She is out of control, except for her control of Nancy!” he tweeted.
Pelosi announced on Sunday that U.S. Capitol Police and the House sergeant-at-arms “are conducting a security assessment to safeguard” Omar, he family and staff.

The heads of Israel’s charedi parties on Monday morning met Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at his home, Kikar Shabbos reported.
Netanyahu’s meeting with Shas leader Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and UTJ’s Deputy Health Minister Yakov Litzman came just before the two met with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to recommend Netanyahu continue in his position as PM.
“We recommend Netanyahu as candidate for the premiership,” said Deputy Health Minister Yaakov Litzman.
“We worked with him during the previous term. We did everything we could for the Jewish people, and so we think that he is the right candidate for prime minister.”
