During a press conference at Mar-a-Lago, Florida, on Thursday, former President Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, claiming she had been “very, very bad to Israel and she has been very bad to Jewish people.”
Trump’s comments were in response to a question regarding Harris’s openness to discussing an arms embargo on Israel with anti-Israel activists in exchange for the support of undecided voters in Michigan. Although Harris’s campaign later attempted to clarify her position, indicating that while she is willing to engage with anti-Israel voters, her support for Israel remains firm.

President Biden appeared uncertain about his next steps during his sole public event of the week on Thursday, needing a prompt from an emcee to exit a White House ceremony honoring the Texas Rangers’ World Series victory. The president eventually departed after saluting the players.
At 81, Biden ended his re-election campaign on July 21 following growing concerns from fellow Democrats about his cognitive abilities. Despite this, he has asserted that he is still fully capable of fulfilling the duties of the presidency through January 20, although his public schedule has become noticeably lighter.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has come under fire for misleadingly stating that he handled weapons “in war,” a remark that Senator JD Vance recently criticized as an instance of “stolen valor.”
This statement from Kamala Harris’ running mate surfaced in a 2018 video shared by Walz’s gubernatorial campaign. In the clip, Walz spoke to a crowded room about gun violence, declaring, “We can research the impacts of gun violence. We can make sure those weapons of war, that I carried in war, are only carried in war.”
However, Walz’s critics quickly pointed out that, despite serving in the National Guard until his retirement in 2005, he never participated in combat.

Former President Donald Trump joined ‘Fox & Friends’ to discuss his reaction to the Harris-Walz ticket, how he is going to reverse course on key issues like the economy and immigration and what is at stake in November.

Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance surprised the media on Wednesday by attempting to confront Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, as their planes landed at nearly the same time.
“I figured I’d come by and, one, just get a good look at the plane because hopefully it’s going to be my plane in a few months, but I also thought you guys might get lonely because the vice president doesn’t answer questions from reporters and hasn’t for 17 days,” Vance told reporters accompanying the campaign.
After approaching Air Force Two, Vance addressed the press: “Have they given you guys an explanation for why she won’t take questions from reporters?”

Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.) has declared her intention to retaliate against a major pro-Israel PAC following her defeat in the primary for her reelection campaign on Tuesday. The PAC supported her rival in a closely fought contest, marking the second time this election cycle that a member of the progressive “squad” has been ousted.
The United Democracy Project, a super PAC backed by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), was a major contributor to Bush’s opponent, St. Louis County District Attorney Wesley Bell. Bush had faced severe criticism due to her vocal opposition to Israel’s actions in Gaza.
In a passionate speech following her defeat, Bush asserted that leaving Congress would only release her from certain constraints.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy recently confessed to disposing of a deceased bear cub in Central Park ten years ago, deciding against skinning and consuming it.
The young bear, a six-month-old female, was discovered under an old bicycle in the park a decade ago. In a video uploaded to X, Kennedy elaborated on his peculiar involvement in the incident.
Kennedy recounted that he was out early for falconing when a woman driving ahead of him accidentally hit and killed the bear.

President Joe Biden took a swipe at former President Donald Trump during a press conference on Thursday after Trump needled Biden over his prisoner swap deal with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“President Trump has said repeatedly that he could’ve gotten the hostages out without giving anything in exchange. What do you say to that,” a reporter asked Biden on his way out of the press conference. Grinning ear-to-ear, Biden responded, “Why didn’t he do it when he was president,” and then he walked off the stage with his thumb up.
“So when are they going to release the details of the prisoner swap with Russia,” Trump wrote in his Truth Social post. “Just curious because we never make good deals, at anything, but especially hostage swaps,” he added.
