CNN legal analyst Elie Honig spoke with Jake Tapper Monday about convicted liar Michael Cohen’s admission that he stole tens of thousands of dollars from the Trump Organization.
“This is a bomb, this is really important. This is a bomb dropped in the middle of the prosecution’s case,” CNN legal analyst Elie Honig stated. “Two reasons. One, Michael Cohen was stealing from Donald Trump. He was lying to people about what he was doing with money, he pocketed at least the $30,000 by lying to Weisselberg … $60,000, which by the way, this is crushing to the prosecution’s credibility because the prosecution did not ask Michael Cohen about that on direct and they haven‘t made him plead guilty to larceny, which this is, so let‘s start with that.

IDF soldiers in Gaza have discovered a video showing 8-year-old Ela Elyakim, recorded shortly after she was taken from her father’s home in Nachal Oz during the October 7th massacre.
The video depicts Ela standing in front of the flag of Hamas’ military wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, saying: “I’m Ela Elyakim, the daughter of Noam, and I’m eight years old. And I ask that someone frees us from Hamas captivity.”
Additionally, the IDF released a photograph of Ela with her 15-year-old sister, Dafna, who was also abducted with her.
Both sisters were freed in a previous hostage deal after spending 51 days in Hamas captivity in Gaza.

During last night’s international rally in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, a recorded message from Dr. Phil was shown. In the message, Dr. Phil remarked, “It’s been seven months since October 7th and Hamas still holds 132 hostages from 20 different countries.”
He added, “Hostages being subjected to physical, sexual, and psychological torture… Together we can raise awareness and demand action for the safe return of all of these hostages. This is not an Israeli issue, this is an international issue, and we need the world’s support to get all of these hostages back home.”
