In the heart of America, an Islamic imam is teaching children that their number one goal in life is “to die as a Muslim.” Colorado Imam Karim Abuzaid taught a children’s class last month at the Darul Quran mosque in Chicago, where he instructed the children to scream that they want to “die as a Muslim.” He encouraged the children to “die as a Muslim” to go to Paradise where they can “eat and drink as much as they want without going to the bathroom.” Watch the video below, transcribed by the Middle East Media Research Institute: A video below filmed in Philadephia is even worse, featuring children saying: “We will chop off their heads, and we will subject them to eternal torture — Our Palestine must return to us.” (YWN Israel Desk – Jerusalem)

Introducing himself to the nation after Donald Trump picked him as his running mate, JD Vance is planning to use his Wednesday night address at the Republican National Convention to share the story of his hardscrabble upbringing and make the case that the GOP ticket best understands the challenges facing many Americans. The 39-year-old Ohio senator is a relative political unknown. In his first primetime speech since becoming the nominee for vice president, Vance is expected to recount growing up poor in Kentucky and Ohio, his mother addicted to drugs and his father absent, and how he later went on to the highest levels of U.S. politics. Speaking at a fundraiser earlier Wednesday in Milwaukee, Vance also said he will drive home the call for the former president to be reelected.

A shocking revelation has emerged in the aftermath of the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday. According to Senator John Barrasso (R-WY), law enforcement identified the gunman as suspicious over an hour before the shooting occurred. The individual was reportedly seen with a rangefinder and backpack, raising concerns among authorities. Despite this early identification, the Secret Service failed to act, and the gunman was able to open fire, narrowly missing Trump. Barrasso expressed outrage and disbelief, stating, “You would think over the course of that hour, you shouldn’t lose sight of the individual. Somebody ought to be following up on those sorts of things.

In an interview with BET News, President Biden shared that he would reassess his presidential campaign if his doctors advised him to do so due to a medical condition. When asked by Ed Gordon of BET News if anything would prompt him to re-evaluate his candidacy, Biden said, “If I had some medical condition that emerged, if somebody, if doctors came to me and said, you got this problem and that problem.” This statement marks a shift from his previous assertions that only divine intervention or proof of impossibility to win would lead him to drop out.

California Rep. Adam Schiff on Wednesday became the highest-profile Democrat to call for President Joe Biden to drop his reelection bid, as the party pushed ahead with plans to hold a virtual vote to formally make Biden its nominee in the first week of August before the party’s convention opens in person two weeks later. The move to schedule the roll call vote comes after nearly 20 Democratic members of Congress have called on Biden to withdraw from the presidential race in the wake of his halting debate performance against Republican former President Donald Trump last month.

Two senior IDF officers were attacked in Bnei Brak on Monday night after participating in a meeting on the establishment of a Chareidi brigade in the IDF. After the officers entered their car after concluding their meeting with Rav Dovid Leybel, who is assisting the IDF in establishing the brigade, dozens of extremists surrounded their car, throwing objects at them and calling them “murderers.” The car was blocked for several long moments while the officers waited for police forces, who rescued them from the scene. Housing Minister Yitzchak Goldknopf condemned the attack, saying that he “views the incident as very severe. These are lunatic fringe elements who do not represent the Chareidi public and the residents of the city.
