A Massachusetts Air National Guard member was arrested Thursday in connection with the disclosure of highly classified military documents about the Ukraine war and other top national security issues, an alarming breach that has raised fresh questions about America’s ability to safeguard its most sensitive secrets. The guardsman, an IT specialist identified as 21-year-old Jack Teixeira, was taken into custody without incident after FBI officers converged on his Massachusetts home. A Jewish man was tragically killed after he was struck by a vehicle outside a shul on Whitesville Road in Toms River on Monday night. Hatzolah Paramedics were on the scene, and transported the victim to the hospital in traumatic arrest, with CPR being performed. Sadly, the man was Niftar at the hospital. Three people were injured Monday, including one who suffered a fractured skull, when an inflatable ride at a chol hamoed event in Lakewood was lifted and flung by a strong gust of wind. Hatzolah of Central Jersey EMTs and paramedics were called Monday afternoon to the scene on Summer Avenue at an event called Glitch Park – a bitter bit of irony – which featured over a dozen inflatable rides for children. Hatzolah found two adult patients, both of whom had suffered head trauma and were knocked unconscious. They were treated at the scene before being transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. A third patient suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The Lakewood Police Department is now investigating the incident.

President Biden on Monday signed a GOP-led resolution bringing an end to the national emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic, the White House said. The resolution passed the House despite almost 200 House Democrats voting against it after the White House said it strongly opposed the measure, though it did not threaten to veto it if the bill passed. The bill later passed the Senate in a bipartisan 68-23 vote. A 36-year-old Italian tourist was murdered and seven tourists were wounded on Friday night in a ramming attack in Tel Aviv. An Arab rammed his car into a group of British and Italian tourists on the Tel Aviv promenade, killing one, moderately wounding one, and lightly injuring four. An investigation of the incident revealed that the terrorist drove from north to south near the Charles Clore Promenade, drove on the sidewalk, and hit the tourists. He then continued driving on a nearby bicycle path, where he was shot by a nearby police officer. He lost control of his car, which overturned, and he was killed in the crash.
