Police are investigating a bullet that struck the windshield of a marked NYPD vehicle with two officers inside. It happened outside the 40th Precinct on Alexander Avenue and E138th Street in the Bronx. The bullet ripped through the windshield & into the divider between the back seats – missing both officers by inches. No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing. Meanwhile, in other anti-police violence in NYC, a man pointed a gun at cops in Queens, while another threw a lit firework into an NYPD vehicle in Brooklyn. Thankfully, no one was injured or killed. This is the environment created and cheered on by Socialist Mayor Bill DeBlasio and his buddies at “Black Lives Matters”. (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

Kuwaiti based newspaper Al-Jareeda reported that Israel was responsible for two blasts that occurred at Iranian facilities in the past week. The newspaper, citing an unnamed senior source said that an Israeli cyberattack caused yesterday morning’s explosion at the largely underground Natanz nuclear enrichment facility. In a more shocking part of the report, the newspaper reported that last Friday’s explosions at the Parchin military complex in the foothills of Tehran, were the result of Israeli F-35 bombardment – an operation that required no refueling, the newspaper reported. Al-Jazeera reports that the aircraft took off from southern Israel and carried out the bombing run without the need to refuel.

Hagaonim Harav Chaim Kanievsky and Rosh Yeshivah Harav Gershon Edelstein published a letter on Tuesday morning calling on the public to be mapkid on health regulations and to be mechazeik in kedushas beis ha’knesses in light of the rise of coronavirus cases in Israel. “When due to our many sins, Shamayim has increased the severity of the coronavirus pandemic, we surely must arouse ourselves and be mechazeik ourselves,” the Gedolim wrote. “Each person knows in their heart what to work on and specifically, everyone should guard the kedushas batei knesseios and batei medrashios.” “We also have to remember that at a time like this, the binding mitzvah upon us is guarding our health,” the Gedolim wrote.

It’s a zilzul of dinei nafashos and there’s no heter for it!’ I heard about a Jew, a yirei Shamayim who served as a sandak without wearing a mask. Who can matir something like this? A Florida sheriff said he will deputize every gun owner in his county to put down any violent protests his deputies can’t handle alone. Clay County Sheriff Darryl Daniels gave no indication in a three-minute video released Wednesday that any demonstrations are planned in his suburban Jacksonville county. Daniels also said he would protect any peaceful protests, but added that if anyone starts “tearing up Clay County, that is not going to be acceptable.” “If we can’t handle you, I’ll exercise the power and authority as the sheriff and I’ll make special deputies of every lawful gun owner in the county and I’ll deputize them to this one purpose: to stand in the gap between lawlessness and civility,” said Daniels, sporting a white cowboy hat as he stood in front of 18 deputies.

A man was arrested for allegedly setting off fireworks that burned down a home in Brooklyn. Damien Bend, 36, is charged with arson in the fourth degree. On June 24, firefighters responded to the home on E. 51 St. for reports of a fire on the first floor of a two-and-a-half story home. It took 60 firefighters to bring the flames under control. The Fire Marshal said video footage obtained of the incident shows Bend igniting fireworks in the driveway of the home when a burst from one of them entered an open window on the first floor. The Fire Marshal said Bend continued to set off the remaining fireworks before entering his house to retrieve more. In the last nine days, Fire Marshals have arrested 17 people and confiscated approximately $36,700 worth of illegal fireworks.

Despite viral rumors on social media stating that a Federal Judge in NY ruled that summer camps would not be allowed to open, it is nothing more than “fake news”. The only update in the case is that “supplemental briefs” have been filed – both by the State of New York, as well as by the attorney representing the Association of Jewish Camp Operators (AJCO). The briefs were filed on Wednesday. At this point, there is no news other than waiting for a decision by the judge. That’s what happens when “news sources” publish news without even bothering to verify what they are posting – or even bother to read the date on a court document. The survey found 75 percent of families wanted to send their children back to school in September. De Blasio said the city is developing multiple plans and contingencies with teachers, principals and parents.
