Widespread anarchist protests took place across Israel beginning early Tuesday morning as part of the “Day of Disruption” to ostensibly protest the passing of a bill revoking the “reasonableness” clause in its first reading in the Knesset on Monday evening. Protesters blocked major highways throughout the country for hours, including the Ayalon Highway at several junctions in Tel Aviv, Highway 1 near Jerusalem, Highway 443 at the Maccabim-Reut junction, Highway 4 in the Binyamina area, Highway 2 near Haifa, and others. In Hertziliya, about 30 protesters set up a “tent city” and burned tires by HaSira Junction, blocking traffic, and were forcibly evacuated by police. Human lives were endangered as ambulances were blocked in major traffic jams.

Former President Donald Trump unleashed a series of Truths on his social media platform accusing the White House of covering up that the cocaine found in the White House belongs to Joe and Hunter Biden. “THEY 100% KNOW WHO IT IS,” Trump wrote. “If they don’t release information, it means they destroyed the tapes & the Cocaine was for use by Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe, in order to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!” Trump then wondered whether the president was high when FBI agents raided Mar-a-Lago last August. “Was Crooked Joe Biden on Cocaine when he instructed the FBI/DOJ to illegally invade my home, Mar-a-Lago, in complete and total violation of my 4th Amendment Rights?” Trump asked.

Fox News personality Mark Levin launched a scathing attack on the Department of Justice (DOJ) during his Sunday show, accusing them of leaking information about the prosecution of former President Donald Trump for his handling of classified material. During the latest episode of Life, Liberty, and Levin, the host dedicated his opening monologue to discussing the numerous leaks that have surfaced in relation to Trump’s legal proceedings. Levin expressed his belief that the “back of the Department of Justice” needs to be broken. Levin claimed that the DOJ is “destroying America” and undermining the integrity of the 2024 election, accusing the department of violating established norms and traditions.

A video by popular French YouTuber Dimerci that went viral features a touching incident in which a frum man is the only one to react to a stranger’s distress. Dimerci, who has over 3 million subscribers, carried out a “social experiment” in which he feigned an attempt to harm himself in public. In the video, he’s seen standing in a crowded area in France pouring a “flammable liquid” over his head and then reaching into his pocket for a lighter. No one did anything to try to stop him except a frum man wearing a yarmulke and tzitzis, who rushed to knock his lighter to the floor and pull him away to a less crowded area to calm him down and comfort him.

On the background of the government holding a preliminary vote on Monday night to revoke the Reasonableness Clause, which allows the Supreme Court to overrule decisions by the Knesset as long they establish “reasonableness,” leftists and anarchists are again holding protests against the judicial reform on Monday evening, including outside the Knesset. Protesters have also declared Tuesday as “Resistance Day,” promising to close down the country with protests on a scale “never seen before in Israel,” including another large protest at Ben-Gurion Airport at 4 p.m. Early Monday evening, protesters broke into the area of the Knesset reserved for the prime minister and MKs and were forcibly removed from the area by the Knesset guards. The Monsey region was deluged with nearly a foot of rain on Sunday, as the area was battered with the amount of precipitation that normally takes a month or more to fall. The storm brought mayhem to the region, destroying dozens of vehicles, overloading dams, and burying roads under a sea of floodwaters. The town of Stony Point was no exception to the chaos, with heavy rains and flash floods gushing through its streets, and a growing river slowly but surely making its way to Beit Hakneset Ohalei Yosef Yitzchak. As a wall of raging water rose around the building, concerns grew that the shul would be terribly damaged, and perhaps worse, that those trapped inside would be consumed by the ferocious waters. Then, suddenly – inexplicably, miraculously – the water stopped rising.

Chaverim of Rockland is being credited with saving more than 20 people from 5 separate families who became trapped in rising floodwaters while traveling near Monsey during a torrential downpour. The dramatic scene unfolded on Sunday afternoon, when Chaverim was called in by Rockland EMS for assistance with hikers, some of them injured, who had become trapped on Bear Mountain. As its members were en route to assist with rescuing them, Chaverim began receiving frantic calls from numerous people begging for assistance on Seven Lakes Drive, which was completely flooded. Terrified callers from five separate families described how their vehicles were already submerged and had to be abandoned, and how floodwaters were quickly rising around them, threatening to r”l wash them away.

There was widespread flooding across New York State, with Rockland and Orange Counties getting severely hit. As YWN reported on Sunday morning, a massive amount of rain was expected to fall across the area, with flash flooding warnings issued by the National Weather Service. As predicted by weather forecasters, the rain arrived, and fell in incredible force. As YWN reported earlier, the Palisades Interstate Parkway was totally flooded near Stony Point, forcing the closure of the roadway. Route 6 between Orange County, heading towards Rockland County was washed away. Insane video footage has emerged of the flooding in West Point, Stoney Point and other areas, showing dozens of vehicle totally submerged underwater.

Secular Israeli TV host Shai Golden invited a Chabad rav to help him put on tefillin on a live broadcast on Channel 14 News in response to the recent incitement against Chabad tefillin stands. Speaking about the video of a woman berating a Chabadnik in Tel Aviv, Golden said: “I want to say to you, you who may see this show and want to mock it, I want to tell you that we, here on Channel 14, are PROUD to be mekadeish Shem Shamayim, PROUD to put on tefillin on the show, PROUD to invite the Rav to speak about this important mitzvah. Several campers at Camp Sternberg were injured on Friday afternoon when lightning struck the camp’s grounds. Catskills Hatzolah responded to the scene and treated multiple campers, subsequently transporting them to the hospital for evaluation.
