All five rockets launched at Israel from terror groups in Gaza overnight Tuesday were intercepted by the Iron Dome anti-missile system. However, shrapnel from one of the rockets penetrated the ceiling of a home in Sderot. Baruch Hashem, the residents of the home were in their sealed room when the hit occurred and were unharmed. On Wednesday morning, another family in Sderot with two small children discovered that their home had also been hit and the shrapnel had fallen from their roof into the kiddie pool in their yard. The mother, Neta Ohayan, told Channel 12 News: “When an alarm went off at 1:38 a.m., we didn’t manage to go into the sealed room with our two small children; they were sleeping.

The U.S. Secret Service is conducting an investigation into a suspicious substance that was discovered inside the White House on Sunday evening, resulting in a brief evacuation. According to officials and a dispatch recording from a responding D.C. fire crew, a preliminary test conducted on the substance, described as a white powder, indicated a positive result for cocaine. Anthony Guglielmi, spokesperson for the Secret Service, confirmed that further testing is being conducted to determine the exact nature of the substance. Authorities are also actively looking into how the substance managed to enter the White House. Guglielmi added that the D.C. fire department has determined that the substance does not pose a threat.

Turkey’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) announced that it uncovered a “ghost network” of 56 operatives who were working for Israel’s Mossad, Turkey’s Daily Sabah reported on Monday. According to the report, seven of the operatives were arrested, all of whom confessed to working for the Mossad. The report added that MIT discovered that the 56 Mossad operatives were part of nine networks, with each network overseen by a Mossad agent in Tel Aviv. The agents in Tel Aviv oversaw the operatives in Turkey who gathered information about targets in Lebanon and Syria through various surveillance methods, including tracing vehicle movements via GPS, hacking into password-protected networks, and identifying private locations.

A yeshiva bochur in a Catskills camp was airlifted to Albany Medical Center on Tuesday after falling approximately 15 feet and striking his head. Catskills Hatzolah immediately rushed to the area after the accident, which occurred on Ulster Heights Road. Hatzolah and other emergency personnel extricated the victim from the area, and subsequently transported him to the hospital via Medevac with a head injury. An Israeli soldier was fatally shot in the West Bank city of Jenin as Israeli forces began their withdrawal from the area after a major operation that had lasted nearly two days. The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that the soldier, a non-commissioned officer from the elite Egoz commando unit, received immediate medical treatment at the scene before being transferred to an Israeli hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The soldier’s identity has not yet been released. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, said the soldier was shot while securing the initial phase of the military’s withdrawal from Jenin. The incident is under investigation to determine whether the soldier was hit by Palestinian gunfire or “friendly fire” from other Israeli forces present in the area.

Firefighters are battling a structure fire at Camp Chaviva in the Catskills that broke out in a building with offices and two floors of sleeping quarters. The local fire department responded swiftly to the scene and quickly upgraded the fire to a second alarm, thereby increasing the manpower and resources to fight the blaze. A ramming attack occurred in Tel Aviv in the early hours of Tuesday afternoon, injuring six people, three seriously. A terrorist in a commercial vehicle rammed into two groups of people on the sidewalk near a bus stop in the Ramat HaChayil neighborhood in the north of the city. Armed civilians and a police officer who witnessed the incident rushed to the scene. The terrorist attempted to flee but was caught shortly later by police officers. It is believed that the terrorist was also intending to stab people prior to being neutralized. The counterterrorism operation in Jenin, unofficially dubbed Operation Bayit V’Gan, continued overnight Monday, with IDF forces finding and neutralizing numerous explosives and terror tunnels. About 120 terrorists were arrested, including key terrorist operatives. IDF spokesperson Daniel Hagari said on Tuesday morning that the IDF operated at every point in Jenin, adding: “The resistance of the gunmen tonight was low.
