In the wake of a federal indictment against former President Trump, Republicans are now urging the FBI and Justice Department to appoint a special counsel to investigate allegations of bribery against President Biden. During an appearance on “America Reports” on Wednesday, Senator John Kennedy echoed his fellow GOP members’ calls, emphasizing the importance of FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland addressing the concerns of the American people and upholding the integrity of law enforcement institutions. This is what Kennedy had to say: “I think the FBI is the premier law enforcement agency in all of human history, and I’m not going to vote to abolish them or defund them.

The Israeli left-wing organization The Forum for Regional Thought is taking Israelis on a tour of Huwara, Arutz Sheva reported on Thursday. Huwara is an Arab village in the Shomron where countless terror attacks against Israelis have taken place, including the murder of the Yaniv brothers, H’yd, earlier this year,  and whose residents distribute candies when Israelis are killed or maimed. The invitation to the tour states: “The purpose of the tour is to foster familiarization with the day-to-day reality of life under the occupation and in support of the communities in the area along with increasing Israeli awareness of the situation in the territories.

By: Sandy Eller The world of kosher took on a new vibe at the two day JFood kosher food expo, a two day event where favorites such as ice cream and rugelach shared space with unexpected items like dandelion yogurt and robotically-spun cotton candy. 6,700 attendees flocked to JFood, a Compass Conferences event held at Edison’s New Jersey Expo Center on June 13th and 14th and featured approximately 200 booths representing more than 500 brands. Day one of the show was a business-to-business event geared to supermarkets, restaurants, caterers, schools and camps, while the second half of the event was consumer-focused and open to the general public.  The two day format was a win-win for everyone said Shmiel Stern, CEO of The Compass Crew.

Right-wing activists are scheduled to hold the first-ever right-wing protest outside the home of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in Caesarea on Thursday evening in the wake of the drama in the Knesset on Wednesday when at least four coalition members voted in a secret ballot to elect the opposition’s candidate to the Judicial Selection Committee. Some political analysts claim that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was one of the coalition members who voted with the opposition. At this point, the prime minister has no interest in advancing judicial reform, which is giving the left an excuse to sow chaos throughout the country and the world.

YWN NOTE: The following letter was written by a prominent and well-known Baal Haboos in Brooklyn. It was written for YWN following the recent debacle that hundreds of Rabbeiyim and Morah’s were informed – via a letter on YWN – that summer vacations would be shortened, and that the Yeshivas would be starting earlier than it had been for the past 60 years. The letter was released by Torah Umesorah, and signed by the Vaad Roshei Yeshiva. In the town of Brisk, where the great Reb Chaim Brisker presided as the Rav, there was an orphanage which served any child whose parents couldn’t provide for. Many a time Reb Chaim would open his front door only to find a small package wrapped in a towel or a sheet with a paper pinned to it, identifying it as an abandoned Jewish child.

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told members of the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that the US held indirect talks with Iran on a “mini-agreement” that Israel can live with, Israeli media outlets reported on Tuesday. “This isn’t the [2015) nuclear deal we’re familiar with,” Netanyahu was reported as saying during a closed meeting of the top-level committee this week. Walla News reported Netanyahu as saying that the “understanding” between the two countries includes a commitment from Iran not to enrich uranium over 60% purity in exchange for the US releasing billions of dollars of frozen Iranian funds. In addition, Iran and US will carry out a prisoner swap deal.

During a recent encounter in the White House, President Joe Biden responded with a smile, chuckle, and evasive behavior when questioned about allegations of bribery during his time as Vice President. As he left an event with US diplomats in the White House East room, a reporter asked Biden if there were tapes that captured him accepting bribes. Instead of providing a direct answer, Biden awkwardly grinned, chuckled to himself, and continued walking away without addressing the question.

Despite the left-wing chants of “democracy” during protests against the Netanyahu government, their actions belie their slogans as they do everything they can to silence right-wing politicians and views. A lack of willingness to engage in respectful dialogue is often used to cover up fear, anger, and lack of clarity. A recent confirmation of this appeared in a Walla report that the left-wing rag Haaretz banned their journalists from appearing on the increasingly popular right-wing Channel 14. The report was confirmed by Haaretz’s chief editor Aluf Benn. The far-left Haaretz pundit Gideon Levy who was scheduled to appear on a recent showing of Channel 14′s “The Patriots” notified the channel that he is canceling his appearance.
