Multiple IDF soldiers have reportedly lost their lives in Gaza tonight, after a military helicopter they were aboard crashed. Initial report state that three soldiers – none of whom have yet been identified – were killed in the wreckage, and another eight were injured, including four in serious condition. It was not immediately clear what caused the helicopter to crash. Early suspicions center around a mechanical malfunction or pilot error, although terrorists attacking the helicopter has not been officially ruled out as a cause by the IDF. Thus far, the IDF has not publicly acknowledged the crash, nor any fatalities. (YWN World Headquarters – NYC)

Channel 12 journalist Almog Boker slammed the Israeli government for failing to respond to the Hezbollah drone attack on Monday which scored a direct hit on a high-rise apartment building in Nahariya. B’Chasdei Hashem, there were no injuries but two apartments were heavily damaged. “If all the buildings in Beirut continue to stand as if nothing happened, then nothing will change,” Boker stated. “Like in Gaza, so in Lebanon. If they launch a rocket and hit a building, we need to choose a neighborhood in Beirut, give the residents 24 hours to evacuate, and knock down the building.” “Something has to change, and if not, the nightmare of the residents of the Gaza border area will turn into the nightmare of the residents of the north.

Kamala Harris and Donald Trump will meet for the first time face-to-face Tuesday night for perhaps their only debate, a high-pressure opportunity to showcase their starkly different visions for the country after a tumultuous campaign summer. The event, at 9 p.m. Eastern in Philadelphia, will offer Americans their most detailed look at a campaign that’s dramatically changed since the last debate in June. In rapid fashion, President Joe Biden bowed out of the race after his disastrous performance, Trump survived an assassination attempt and bothsides chose their running mates. Harris is intent on demonstrating that she can press the Democratic case against Trump better than Biden did.

The IDF has released a video showing the inside of a Hamas tunnel in the Tel Sultan neighborhood of Rafah, where six Israeli hostages were executed by Hamas terrorists. The footage, taken in late August, shows the tunnel where Israeli troops later recovered the bodies of the hostages. Hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Alex Lobanov, Carmel Gat, and Almog Sarusi were killed on August 29 before being discovered by Israeli forces two days later. The tunnel, part of Hamas’s Rafah Brigade’s underground network, spanned 120 meters and was located 20 meters below ground.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was confronted by Elchanan Danino, the father of murdered hostage Ori Danino hy”d, during the shiva for his son. Ori, 25, had endured 11 months of captivity by Hamas in underground tunnels before being killed alongside five other hostages as the IDF closed in on a rescue attempt. Elchanan Danino criticized Netanyahu for the political divisions in Israel, appearing to refer to the Prime Minister’s efforts to overhaul the Supreme Court, which sparked months of protests before the devastating Hamas attack on October 7th. “You people on high have to stop dealing with nonsense and stirring up fights and disagreement,” Danino said to Netanyahu.

In a heated exchange on CNN Monday, former Republican Congressman Scott Taylor challenged host Anderson Cooper regarding the network’s history of promoting narratives that later proved to be false. When Cooper pressed Taylor on Trump’s claims of voter fraud in Pennsylvania, asserting that there was “no evidence” to support them, Taylor defended Trump’s stance. “The reality is there are folks who have issues with this. They want to have a safe and secure election, just like anyone, and the former president is highlighting that,” Taylor explained. Cooper responded, saying that beginning an argument by saying, “There are people who believe this,” weakens the position. “That’s like classic high school debate stuff,” Cooper argued.

CNBC’s Jim Cramer and David Faber tore into former President Donald Trump’s economic proposals, calling his plans for mass deportation and tariffs a recipe for disaster. On Monday’s “Squawk on the Street,” the hosts slammed Trump’s ideas as “massively inflationary” and likened them to the economic catastrophe of the Great Depression. Faber questioned the impact of Trump’s policies on wages, asking, “What happens when you put tariffs on goods and stop immigration and force migrants to leave? In terms of wages, isn’t that going to be inflationary?” Cramer responded, “Of course! Of course!

Hezbollah launched a heavy barrage of at least 30 rockets at Meron and 15 rockets at the western Galil on Tuesday afternoon. B’Chasdei Hashem, no injuries were reported. Some of the rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome and others fell in open areas. Defense Minister Yoav Gallant visited the northern border on Tuesday morning and hinted that the IDF is preparing for an all-out war in the north. He spoke to the commanders and soldiers stationed near the border, saying: “The center of gravity is moving north.

During a book signing event at the Texas Tribune Festival in Austin on Saturday, former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was heckled by conservative comedian Alex Strenger, who posed as a Democrat and mocked her phenomenal threat gained through her questionable stock trading practices. Strenger approached Pelosi, who was promoting her new book The Art of Power, and sarcastically hailed her as “the greatest options trader of all time,” before being escorted away by security. In a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), Strenger, wearing a COVID mask and Bernie Sanders cap, introduced himself as “Noah” and praised Pelosi for her defense of democracy. “It really means so, so much, you know?” he said, before shifting the conversation to his supposed fear of Donald Trump’s reelection.

In yet another display of performative activism, a large Palestinian flag was draped across the Brooklyn tower of the Williamsburg Bridge during Monday morning’s rush hour. Because what better way to “raise awareness” than to inconvenience everyday New Yorkers just trying to get to work? Footage on Citizen captured two individuals, likely police officers, climbing up to remove the flag—because, of course, someone had to clean up the mess left behind by these “activists.” Meanwhile, patrol boats circled the base of the bridge as if this stunt was anything more than an annoyance.
