Rav Moshe Hillel Hirsch, Rosh Yeshivas Slabodka, in a drasha, addressed whether to cancel the rest of bein hazemanim in light of the war and carnage in Eretz Yisroel.
“The first thing we need to feel is our partnership with them, in tefillah, a lot of tefillah,” he said. “This is an obligation and a personal responsibility for everyone.”
Regarding bein hazemanim, “it is very likely that we will cancel the rest of it… Even if we do not cancel bein hazemanim for some reason, no one is allowed to go on any trips…or even simply walk in the street. It is a chillul Hashem like no other and also endangers lives.”
