Gazan civilians fled the northern Gaza Strip toward the south on Tuesday via a humanitarian corridor opened by the IDF. A video of the scene, showing a long stream of Gazans, many bearing white flags, was published by Israel’s Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT), which is responsible for the implementation of civil and humanitarian policy in Yehudah and Shomron and the Gaza Strip. Otzma Yehudit MK Almog Cohen commented on the video: “Gazans, who on October 7th distributed pastries and sang songs of glory, flee for their lives with white flags, submissive, humiliated, and afraid of the revenge of the eternal nation.” The IDF’s Arabic spokesperson Avichay Adraee also posted the video, urging Gazans in Arabic to use the opportunity to move south according to the IDF’s instructions. “Rest assured that Hamas leaders have already taken care of themselves,” he concluded. #عاجل أيها سكان غزة، انضموا الى الكثيرين الذين يتوجهون الى جنوب وادي غزة في هذه الساعة!
