In response to recent communal tragedies and the challenging situation in Eretz Yisroel, particularly concerning the draft law and the ongoing war, the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah of Agudas Yisroel of America and the Lakewood roshei yeshiva have called for a special day of tefillah and teshuvah. Designated as a Yom Kippur Koton Mukdam, today, Thursday, will be a time for tefillah and introspection.
At Bais Medrash Govoah, tefillos of Yom Kippur Koton will be held in multiple locations. The botei medrash of Bais Yitzchok, Forest Avenue, Bais Shalom, and Bais Shmuel will each host the special tefillos, starting at 1:35 p.m.
May the tefillos ascend to the Ribono Shel Olam, and may we merit to see the fulfillment of the words of the Novi: “And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be delivered” (Yoel 3:5).
