Nearly 20,000 women across the globe united for N’shei Adirei HaTorah’s Annual Evening of Chizuk & Inspiration, an uplifting evening of chizuk in preparation of Yom Kippur.
What has become an annual night of inspiration for the women of the Lakewood NJ area was once again held with tremendous Siyata Dishmaya. Close to 12,000 women attended the outdoor event, which expanded this year to include 32 out-of-town kollelim across the United States, all participating via live feed. Additionally, women from 10 European cities — including Basel, St. Louis (France), Gibraltar, Borehamwood (England), Berlin (Germany), and Amsterdam — participated the following morning. All together, nearly 20,000 women connected through their shared desire to strengthen their ties to Torah, making this event a true kiddush Hashem.
The event was attended by all the Roshei HaYeshiva of Bais Medrash Govoha and featured powerful divrei hisorerus from the Rosh HaYeshiva HaRav Yisroel Neuman, the Rosh HaYeshiva HaRav Yerucham Olshin, and Rosh Yeshivas Mir HaRav Elya Brudny. The event was chaired by R’ Menasha Frankel.
The guest speaker, Rav Ephraim Eliyahu Shapiro, Mara D’asra of Shaarei Tefillah in North Miami Beach, highlighted the unique role of klal Yisroel’s women in supporting and strengthening the Torah world. Each speaker underscored the individual contributions made by the women — as wives of avreichim, mothers of talmidim, or sisters — in upholding the fabric of Torah life.
A special video presentation featured HaRav Uren Reich, Rosh Yeshivas Ohr Zechariah, and Rav Nachum Binder, Mara D’asra of Hampshire Heights, R’ Yaakov Beer a Yungerman in Bais Medrash Govoha each delivering stirring messages about the vital partnership between the women and their husband’s or children’s dedication to Torah learning.
A tribute video was also played in honor of the esteemed Mashgiach zatzal HaRav Mattisyahu Salomon, featuring featuring his sons, HaRav Yaakov Yehuda & HaRav Moshe Chizkiyohu.
This unforgettable night highlighted the role of the Nashim Tzidkoniyos in shaping and strengthening the future of Klal Yisroel.
