Eli Sharabi, 52, Ohad Ben Ami, 56, and Or Levy, 34, were released on Shabbos morning in shocking condition after 491 days in Hamas captivity in Gaza. The handover ceremony in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza was cruel and brutal, with the three men appearing skeletal and pale and requiring support from Hamas terrorists to walk onto the stage, where they were forced to speak for an extended period. The images from the Strip have sparked significant outrage both in the country and internationally. Tragically, two of the hostages came home to heartbreaking news, Sharabi was unaware that his wife and two teenage daughters were murdered on October 7. Levy’s wife was also killed but it is unknown if he was aware of the fact. His three-year-old son survived the assault. The heinous Hamas animals forced the visibly starved and weak Eli Sharabi to say he was excited to go home and looking forward to seeing his wife and daughters, knowing they had been murdered on October 7. The Hamas animals then laughed. Additionally, Eli’s brother Yossi, H’yd, was murdered on October 7.
