The Iranian missile strike on Israel last week marked an unprecedented escalation, with Iran using more advanced missiles than those deployed during the UAV attack in April.
According to Kan 11 News, Israeli assessments indicate that Iran expended about one-third of its missile stockpile during the attacks.
The report further suggests that prior to the assault, Iran had roughly 600 “high-quality” missiles in its arsenal. After firing 180 missiles at Israel during last week’s strikes, Iran now has about 400 remaining, meaning a third of its stockpile has been depleted.
Additionally, foreign reports estimate that Iran originally had around 2,000 ballistic missiles in total. Based on these estimates, Iran used approximately one-sixth of its missile arsenal in the recent offensive.
Defense Minister Yoav Gallant addressed Israel’s response during a visit to the IDF’s Intelligence Directorate earlier on Wednesday. Speaking about Israel’s readiness for retaliation, he said, “The Iranian attacks were aggressive but not precise – our attack will be deadly, precise, and above all, surprising. They won’t understand what happened and how it happened, they will see the results.”
