On Tuesday, it was reported that the ceasefire plan proposed by U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff was still under consideration and Hamas had not dismissed it.
“Hamas viewed the proposal positively,” said Hamas terror spokesman Abdel Latif al-Qanua, claiming that the terror group’s main focus was to prolong the current agreement.
The terror spokesman emphasized that Hamas would remain open and flexible in discussions with mediators, aiming to put an end to Israeli actions and bring Israel closer to a potential agreement.
