During the recent hostage exchange, Hamas terrorists were seen with the Al-Ghoul sniper rifle, a locally-made weapon introduced in 2014 by engineer Adnan Al-Ghoul, capable of firing 14.5mm and 12.7mm rounds with an effective range of 2,000 meters, and previously showcased in Hamas military parades.
