Saudi TV station al-Hadath reports that Israel has given Hamas a list of hundreds of Palestinian security prisoners to be released in a hostage-ceasefire agreement. Some prisoners on the list are serving life sentences, but Marwan Barghouti, the jailed Intifada leader, is not included. The report indicates that a deal could be announced tonight or tomorrow morning. However, the deal is expected to take effect no earlier than Wednesday, January 22.
