Hundreds of protesters assembled in central Yerushalayim for a demonstration in favor of forcibly removing the Palestinian population from Gaza and reinstating Jewish settlements in the area.
The rally, titled “Occupation, Expulsion, and Settlement,” was organized by the Nachala settlement group alongside several other right-wing factions.
MK Limor Son Har-Melech of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party stated that both Gaza and the West Bank rightfully belong to the Jewish people.
“The Land of Israel is for the People of Israel. Gaza is for Jews, Judea and Samaria [the West Bank] is for Jews. They are ours in the merit of our fathers and the merit of our deeds,” Son Har-Melech declared.
She further expressed, “The expulsion of our enemies needs to be forever. We are here not only to expel but to inherit, to establish flourishing settlements full of life. Victory will be that all of Gaza returns to our hands, where Jews establish new generations of courageous settlers.”
Massi Carmel, a participant from the Haifa area, voiced her strong support for the forcible removal of Palestinians from Gaza.
“I support anything that needs to be done to remove these people from there and bring in the people of Israel to the Land of Israel,” Carmel stated, endorsing forcible expulsion as a means to achieve this goal.
When asked whether it was morally justifiable to forcefully expel the Palestinian population from Gaza, Carmel responded, “Is it moral to remove Jews from their homes?” She referred to the 2005 Gaza Disengagement, where around 8,500 Israeli settlers were evacuated, some forcibly by the government. She continued, “Is it moral to murder, to rape, to burn?” adding that “everyone there was involved” in the atrocities of October 7, asserting there are no innocent people in Gaza.
